PROJECT 03 / Local portfolio demo
Fieldwork
Business prospecting with evidence behind the next step.
- Problem
- Prospecting teams need to understand fit and supporting evidence before preparing outreach.
- My contribution
- Designed the research-to-outreach workflow, review queues, and clearer recommendations using AI-assisted development.
- Working today
- A local demo with 248 fictional businesses, company dossiers, editable outreach, notes, and exports.
- Evidence
- The walkthrough demonstrates the review flow. Research is deterministic; the demo does not crawl websites or send email.
An eight-stage prospecting demo that turns targeting criteria into researched opportunities, review queues, and editable outreach.
Challenge & context
A list of companies is not yet a useful opportunity.
Prospecting involves more than finding names. A team needs to understand fit, identify a plausible opportunity, inspect its evidence, and decide whether the information is strong enough to act on.
- Bring targeting, research, qualification, and outreach into a coherent workflow.
- Make scores and uncertainty understandable.
- Keep the next action obvious for the person reviewing the research.

My role & approach
Make the research inspectable, then make it readable.
I directed the workflow and refined the interface through AI-assisted development. The latest design uses a full-width purple workspace, larger type, plain-language recommendations, and visible actions for research and outreach.
- Separate structured research stages from the interface.
- Use fictional records to test handoffs and review states safely.
- Prioritize companies ready to contact, companies needing review, and what to do next.

Solution & key workflows
From a target market to a reasoned recommendation.
A mission moves through eight specialist roles covering discovery, research, audit, qualification, contact research, strategy, personalization, and QA. Company dossiers expose evidence and scoring; outreach stays editable and under human control.
- Set targeting criteria and inspect progress through a research mission.
- Open supporting evidence and the explanation behind a score.
- Prepare outreach, compare prospects, save notes, and export selected information.

Outcome & next steps
A complete demonstration of the prospecting workflow.
Fieldwork includes 248 fictional business records, mission controls, company dossiers, review queues, and six outreach formats. It does not crawl live sites, call a language model, send emails, or connect a CRM.
- Current state: a local demo with deterministic research and browser persistence.
- Design outcome: recommendations can be traced back to supporting demo evidence.
- Next: real data providers, identity resolution, secure accounts, cost controls, and explicit send approval.
